I’m not sure if this is the correct place for this post. Over the last five years, I have built a very successful home inspection business in Greenville, S.C. I do almost 800 inspections and over $400,000.00 in gross revenue annually. My wife handles the phones and scheduling, and I have one assistant who helps with the inspections. This setup permits me to perform three home inspections per day. We have hundreds of 5-star reviews and the best reputation in our market. Because of this and the great housing market in this area, we have always had more work than we can handle, but despite the success, I don’t love doing home inspections. I am starting a new business around the first of next year, and I would like to sell my inspection tools and equipment and hand over the business to a new owner. I know it doesn’t have a lot of value as a small company, and I’m willing to be very reasonable on the price. I am also ready and willing to have the new owner work with me for a month or two to introduce them to my current contacts and teach them anything I can. I would also be available after the sale if questions or problems arise. If you know a hardworking, motivated person who would be interested in a very profitable home inspection business, please let me know. I have most things automated, and the company is running smoothly. If anyone has any advice on selling, I would also love to hear that. Thanks

I would probably first reach out to inspectors in your area and see if there is interest. Good luck on your new endeavors!
