This snake shed is in the attic of a 2 story home. I believe it got in at the unsealed metal roof ridge cap. There was a tree about 15-20 feet above this roof…Nice Huh?

A snake skin was observed in the IDENTIFY(attic space). Snakes enter such spaces seeking food and their presence indicates that the attic is not rodent proof. Rodents have collapsible rib cages and can enter the home through small and narrow spaces. Nevertheless, a competent person should ensure that the house is not accessible to rodents or snakes because they are a nuisance and health hazard.
