I was just laying down all of a sudden dial up sound on my phone no prompt for a call or nothing somebody’s call just got merged and started playing on My phone it was really distorted and it sounded like they were looking for something, but I can’t quite remember. The dial sound probably played for like three seconds. Then i hear 1 side of a conversation and it sounded like someone i knew which creeps me the hell out!!
Sounds like a butt dial, but it was likely the government.
or your butt answered someone else’s butt dial. That’s even more suspicious.
I am on an iphone 15 all up to date software. Their was no prompt to get a call to answer or hang up it just started playing. What are the possibilities because I am leaning tward a ghost😭

Well, someone could have hit a telephone pole near a cemetery. The line flops on the grave and you’ll start getting calls from your Aunt Martha. The only odd part is she’s been dead since the 80s.

I used to work for an alphabet agency, and calls can sometimes get cross-connected like that with a line tap that is not quite dialed into the caller’s IP address when they are moving and switch towers. Usually it is so brief that nobody notices. Oh, I’m just kidding… Or am I?
wow. now that is strange. or it would be if timezones were not a thing. as for the phone calls, it was mentioned about cell phone taps, and while i have not beeninvolved in those and have no knowledge, i do know that landline taps produce a noticeable sound in some cases.
and i install cellular phone dialers a lot and do a lot of telco work. i have seen some strange things with our phone system lately, last six months of so. in some cases we had an active number with two different carriers at the same time, something that is not supposed to happen. all sorts of other issues also, mixed calls, calls going to numbers not dialed, two phones ringing at the same time when a different number was dialed, etc. my opinion is either some threat actor disrupting our network or alien technology experiments.
or it could just be the weather.
