The designation must be permanent and not able to be removed without being destroyed. Multi pane assemblies require that at least one pane have the standard permanently applied (Multiple panes not exceeding 1 SF)
Smoke Alarms.
Smoke alarms must be installed in each sleeping room, outside each sleeping area, one on each additional story of the home.
Smoke alarms are required to be interconnected
Alarms must be powered by the primary building power source and have a battery back up.

- What type of relief valve or valves is required for a water heater? How is a pressure relief valve regulated? A temperature-relief valve?
The temperature relief valve is designed to open and release water if the water temperature inside the tank becomes excessively high. This helps prevent scalding and other safety hazards.
The pressure relief valve is typically set to open at a specific pressure, commonly around 150 psi.
The temperature relief valve is usually set to open at a specific temperature, commonly around 210°F.
