Session 12. What are the general provisions related to hydronic piping systems? How must floor heating systems be tested. Hydronic piping shall conform to table M2101. Approved piping valves, fittings and connections shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. Pipe and fittings shall be rated for use at the operating temperature of the hydronic system. Hydrostatically at a pressure of one and one-half times the maximum system design pressure, but not less than 100 pounds per square inch. The duration of each test shall not be less than 15 minutes.
