Switch in a new build

Greetings my inspection brotherhood! I was at an inspection yesterday and found this switch in the Primary bathroom, under the sink…what is it for?

Really? REALLY??

SWITCH, not receptacle/outlet.

Is there a hydrotherapy tub?

So, is this in the Hall bathroom or the MASTER bathroom??

Since the odds are slim to nil of the OP returning to answer our questions, I will throw out this assumption…

The mentioned 'Primary" bathroom is actually the MASTER bathroom, and the switch is to operate a ‘Re-circulation Pump’ for the Hot Water.

Pretty sure it’s for the garbage disposal but that’s just my opinion. 2028 building code now requires a garbage disposal to be installed in every Primary bathroom with the control switch to be protected by cabinetry for safety.

Nailed it.

Years ago we would call a transvestite a “switch”.

Maybe we just misunderstood the question. Like looking for the primary bathroom.

Primary Bathroom is the new term for Master bathroom. As Master is now a word we can not use in describing something. its now the Primary Bedroom and Primary en’ suit Bathroom.

I refuse to bend over for that ‘WOKE’ BS!
If you haven’t figured it out yet, I don’t give a rats ass about ‘Political Correctness’… and my Clients appreciate it that I tell it as it is, with no mincing BS words!!

I also use the terms primary for what used to be referred to as “master”.

The only thing consistent is change and that couldn’t be more true with language.
