The Client Fidelity Pledge and the opposing pledge

Roy,

I tossed out a concept a few weeks ago. Nathan’s panties got in a knot over it.

Than he invented his own pledge, which was interesting and included a pledge to realtors.

Then Nick wanted to change the COE. THIS was in response to client data and referrals, NOT the CFP. Nick’s brainchild, not mine. Not Bushart’s

Then Nick dragged me in, as chair of ESOP, but did not seek the participation of ESOP as a committee, which was precedent.

Then he invited Nathan and Dom.

In the mean time, I told Nick that the COE changes had no affect on moving forward with the CFP.

Then all hell broke loose.

Then Nathan was once again against the CFP.

Then any and all mention of any of it brought out the worst in some individuals. But NAthan consistently makes it seem as if it is abut him.

I have steadfastly maintained that it is not about him, but pledging against a practice within our industry shared by several vendors, at the expense of clients and ultimately inspectors.

Now, Nathan wants the e-mails posted. He keeps going back to the ethics complaints, as he wants history re-written. History cannot be changed. He needs to move past it. But, I will allow the e-mails to be posted, because it shows that I have been truthful.

Now, Nathan will not grant a waiver against legal action and has become a bit dismissive at best and belligerant at worst.

So, you tell me.

Have I made this about Nathan?

Yes from the very beginning this has been a personal vendetta. Anyone who has read even half of the posts can see this. Please quit insulting our integrity by pretending otherwise. Anyone with eyes can see…Nathan has taken his place at Nick’s right hand and you are so jealous it’s affecting your thought process. It must be if you believe that Bushart isn’t Biggs…or if you trust Bushart’s word.

George,

Let’s be perfectly honest… the ONLY individuals who sit at Nick’s right hand are Chris M and Lisa E.

Period.

As it should be. Chris has served the org well since its inception. Lisa handles a majority of the admin work. NACHI could survive absent of everyone except these three.

I have never diluted my relationship with Nick or this organization beyond the knowledge that I serve at Nick’s convenience. Am I jealous? Not in the least. Am I disappointed? Perhaps a bit because I thought better of Nick.

Nick has his reasons for doing what he is doing and I am trying my very best to ignore the obvious questions as they pertain to money.

That nothwithstanding, I have supped with Nick, his wife, and kids. I have been to his house. I have laughed with him, argued with him, but have also always respected and admired him.

I still do, but it has been a bit difficult to see the transition between what he was and what he has seemingly become.

When Nate no longer serves Nick’s interests, he will likely go the way of hundreds of vendors before him. I will, however, still remain a member of this org, and serve it to the best of my ability.

When Nick no longer needs or wants me, he can strip me of any authority and tell me to hit the road. He always had the ability to do that.

I am a lifetime member of this org, and no longer pay dues. I need none of this to enjoy those benefits that work for me and ignore the ones that do not.

I could be like a majority of members we have, and contribute nothing but an occasional post. When Nick wants that, all he needs to do is tell me.

More blather…

He’s desperate Joe.

Who cares, Post the emails Nate. No more BS and diversions, they don’t work. Post the Emails>

[We Do Not Sell Our Clients Information To Anyone !!](InterNACHI®️ Forum - InterNACHI®️ Forum - A community for home inspectors do think many do read even Google picks some up and even some outsiders and some media even.)

Methinks it aint never gonna happen

Well he did say something about after the 22nd.

Naa, Nathan would never lie to all the members here, not him. He said he would post them. You are even making it easier for him as you will do the work for him, just a simple waiver of any lawsuits. Since he asked for them to be posted himself, and even said he would post them the “Next” time he was in the office that was 2 days ago, and now with your offer to help, he surly wouldn’t Lie to us all now would he?

Jim

We Do Not Sell Our Clients Private Information

IMO just another diversion, also he’s most likely hoping by then we’ll be off on another subject & it will be long forgotten.

Hey Nathan, it ain’t gonna happen.

Just in case I have set a reminder in outlook.

That’s not the way the world works, Nathan may not win, but I find it doubtful that these types of business practices will go by the wayside, there is just too much money at stake. Besides, without kickback programs there will be very few successful multi-inspector firms, for them its a case of survival. I believe Nathan won this thing a long time ago and what we are experiencing now is simply a mopping-up operation.

I disagree Joe,

If this issue is to be exposed in the public eye, nobody will care what happens to the unscrupulous vendors or the multi-inspection firms keeping afloat due to kick-backs.

Most in the industry will eventually realize that if they don’t want their name dragged through the mud, they will need to distance themselves from these entities that may cause them damage. This is all granted that it get’s into the public domain in a big way.

… which is why the dishonest and unethical lead brokers, and those getting kickbacks from him/them, are working hard against the Client Fidelity Pledge promotion.

Bingo !! well said Kevin. This is why we have been saying over and over this is much bigger than a nachi, ashi, Thorberry, ADT, mahi or any other organization or Me, or you, or anyone. It is going public and nobody can stop it now. It will take time but it IS beginning.

Jim

Guests, we have another good BINGO in seat # Lucky7. It appears this man has all the right spaces full and hasn’t missed a beat.

Jim

Can you define “working hard against it”? There are over 50 yes votes in this poll and only 12 home inspectors have signed up as trustworthy. What is the public to do when there is not a trustworthy inspector to help? Oh the humanity.

Dang I just realized I responded to a thread without the poll in it. Can we just put all these in the same thread?

Brad, hit edit, then advanced then you can delete it, then go post it in the thread you want it in.

Jim

I will approach these questions again as so far all I have seen are the good Home Inspectors trying to provide insight and the other side of the coin trying to disparage and debase the good Home Inspectors and this post origin.
