Lots of amazing things coming soon.
I have used this software and can confidently say it’s head and shoulders above the rest!
Truly an excellent software that is adding features and getting better and better by the day! The ability to customize templates to your personal preferences and the exhaustive library of components with relevant issues, actions and summary statements pre-loaded for each component really sets the standard for ease of use and efficiency during inspections.
I thought we discussed this already. PASS.
The original approach that was posted on this forum by this [Team/Company/Employee(s)/Partner(s)] appeared to me to be shady at best…and I don’t think any of us that contributed to this topic/thread appreciated the generated report(s) or subterfuge…
AND, reports done on-site in under two hours???
BTW… welcome to the two other posters that have made their first post on this forum. I think I’m starting to see a pattern here
Good morning, Nick.
Did you read the report? Do you feel that it reflects Internachi SOP?
Nick, I know you posted it here for us to vet. Here is some feedback.
I found this casual approach to be too informal and patronizing.
see above
I am just curious if this can be removed; we were instructed to ignore it in the video.

Narratives look like shorthand. Brevity has limits.
Super chill dude. Safety is sorta urgent, not really. Don’t want to upset the realtor.
Pretty much ridiculous
More fluff. Are we listing the home for sale or inspecting the home?
No way I could publish this and expect to be taken seriously.
Hot mess
Ultimately, I understand that much of this is style over substance. But this style is obviously promoted. Promoted alongside shorthand and as many abbreviations as possible.
And I agree with @bhull1 that this report and the SoP need to be scrutinized further.
This developer has not produced a coherent and complete sample report. The report style is casual, the report is not detail oriented, and much of the information is abbreviated, ambiguous or wrong. Am I to expect the same from the developer?
Is the client to expect the same from us?
Welcome Braiden. Did you join NACHI just to write this review? Would you consider posting one of your reports to support your glowing review that sounds a lot like a developer speaking?
+2 on that. They state on their website that Joe Ferry endorses Inspectagram and is also US Consulate approved (I don’t understand why this is important ). I would love to see the report(s) that they were given to vet this software.
WOW, love the excitement here. This is my first post. My name is Lucas, and I’m happy to talk with anyone anytime about changing this industry for the better. My number is 1-368-996-7273.
I’ve been inspecting for a decade and building custom homes even longer. These days I still do three inspections a day, and my team completes between 120 and 170 inspections a week using inspectagram. I built inspectagram to keep the batter consistent with my team. When we reimagined home inspections we really focused on the end user. I live with a lawyer, built homes for lawyers and have learned a lot about covering my ass and limiting our liabilities. I’ve never been to court. That’s not theory. We live in this software every single day.
Our reports are interactive. Summary statements link straight to the photos so agents and clients don’t have to dig. There is way too much to cover in one post, but thousands have already gone out, and the feedback is clear. People want reports that are visual, simple, and written in human terms, exactly how they digest information every day on social media.
I get the scepticism. Change is uncomfortable, and most of us have been burned by clunky tools or bad software. This isn’t about selling anyone. Use it or don’t. But if you want to see where reports are headed and how other industries have already evolved, I would rather show you than argue.
Blockbuster tried to keep VHS alive in the age of Netflix. Our industry cannot afford the same mistake.
Yes @Gromicko has read the reports. In fact, today we went through one together at the house of horrors in Fort Lauderdale , FABI. We’ve been working closely to iron out all the SOP’s with not just resi but also commercial, CCPIA (@Maey)
I’m on board with modern software and modern reports. However, in my opinion, the samples on your website present an entirely too “leisurely” approach to inspecting for me. Can a person make a report with your software that would appeal to a more serious person who just wants to focus on the actual issues?
Brian, you are not the first to have this reaction. The reality is clients and agents want it, love it, and more and more are starting to demand it. Clients feel like they can actually understand the report and use it to guide them through one of the biggest purchases of their lives.
Agents spend a ton of time building trust with their clients, only to have it undermined by an inspector with a clunky report that reflects poorly on everyone involved. Our reports have changed that. It gives agents confidence, and it gives clients clarity which in turn builds your business portfolio.
On the insurance side, we have only ever had positive feedback. Our clients now understand their coverage needs, and they feel confident answering their brokers questions without having to call us. Give me shout sometime, Luke
You don’t have to use it if it’s not your thing, but we’ve got multi-millionaires and professionals from all walks of life (Engineers, Accountants…etc.) who love our reports. People don’t really read anymore they skim and scan like they do with everything else. Our layout makes the big stuff easy to see, but all the details, info and protection are still there when someone wants to dig in. Serious or simple, you can run it how you want.
Can you post a sample of a report that skips all the “here’s how your front door looks” stuff and just focuses on issues with the property?
I’ll drop a few reports here.

A full page legend is included for end users along with helpful hints throughout the report to guide them along the way. Each item follows the CIA method where we state the component, keep it short and to the point, then the issue(s) and the action(s). Location and trade are added if needed. The summary highlights the vital points while the full report acts as the Coles Notes of the home, organized and photo rich. Components with an orange solid dot is marked for immediate attention and automatically moves into the summary. A donut dot marks items that need attention but are less urgent. Happy to chat more.
