Inspectagram New Software (New to Me at least)

Hey Everyone,

I know there are allot of options for software out there and with that in mind, I wanted to share that Inspectagram has made a big difference in my day-to-day work flow. Especially when it comes to boosting productivity (More scheduled inspections), improved my clients viewing and reviewing experience, as well as the clarity & accuracy of my reports.

I had been using an older program and template for a while that got the job done but involved quite a bit of extra work—whether it was adding details during or after the inspections. And as my business grew, I needed something that I could team inspect with and was keeping up with the changes in the market that I work in. And l know how some inspections can be unpredictable, especially when you’re faced with homes that have seen better days, a builder who doesn’t meet the bare minimum or just having been the subject of some questionable DIY renovations. So inspections will always take as long as they take, and fielding questions during inspections from homeowners and agents is expected.

I started looking for software that would give me a competitive edge in the market and help me deliver concise, modern, and compliant reports that stand up to both the SOP and local building code requirements. While my previous reports were clear, I still found myself fielding calls for clarification from time to time, even from real estate agents with plenty of experience and it was typically because of layout and document presentation. As once I pointed them in the right direction they would give me the standard ‘Ah Ha, I found it.’, that doesn’t happen any more.

Since switching to Inspectagram, the difference has been clear. The field reporting is faster, more accurate, and still aligns with the SOP and local building code requirements for reporting. I’ve also have had great feedback from seasoned homebuyers and real estate agents alike, praising how easy these reports are to view and share with clients—making the entire process smoother for everyone involved.

If you’re looking to level up your reports, and build visibility with agents and buyers alike I highly recommend giving this program a try. It’s been a game changer for me and my team.

Please share your experience;

Yes! Thats the software.

I just came across this post and wanted to double down on praise for Inspectagram.

I was spending so much time editing wordy writeups for clients. This software is doing the majority of the work for me.

It’s picture based. Its beautiful. Its like a Robb Report magazine for my clients.

Anyway, just wanted to toss my 2 cents in

Sick beard by the way

Can you post a copy of a recent home inspection just to see what it looks like

It’s weird that you are praising this software and just came across this post when you only joined 9 minutes ago.

Are you and the OP the same person?

We are not. That is my colleague.

He said he posted here…I read the post and I wanted to follow up. I feel like its new and requires some awareness.

And yes, I did just join this specific forum.

Inspection attached. Just yesterday.
We team inspected this house (as you can see the size and scale)
Again, made possible with the software.

Notice there’s no price.

That’s one whopper of a report, 143 pages.

FWIW, I don’t like the “comedic” element in some of the Headers or descriptions.

Hey Jeffrey,

Fair questions, yes I only just signed in to the Forum, but you can view 80% of the forum for the most part without signing in. I wanted to sign in and actually contribute this time, so the screen shot is a valid bases for query. And being guarded when someone pops on out of nowhere is a valid response, but this forum is for building community and sharing ideas. So if I am not supposed to post something like this here I can remove it, or I suppose I could connect with the Mods as see what they say.

How long you been an inspector?
8 years if you include learning on the job as an assistant, then part time and full time now for 2yrs

What was your prior software?
I don’t want to slag someone else’s product that’s not why I’m on here, suffice to say that it was outdated for what we do now. Should be enough to say that looked like a windows '98 word doc converted to PDF, and as I said it worked for a long time but we wanted to modernize what we do.

Where are you located?
Alberta, Canada

What’s your website address?

We’ve been around for 15+ years

Hey Martin,

Same response as I made earlier.

The “app” is free, the service costs $119/month or $599/year, apparently. And iOS only.

WHO owns this inspect gram stuff?

What does this mean?

Just on a quick look see, it appears they are marketing to the millennials and Gen Z HI’s. Young and dumb to early 40’s. Not a good time for any inspectors to get into the game, much less the young and dumb ones.

Younger version of “Man, you have a cool looking beard!!” …or…

“Dude if you puke, your beard will catch most of it…”

If the report looks like a web page(s) as depicted in the link provided above, I personally don’t care for it. Some may though, but as I stated above, it has to be be marketing to a younger group. It may take off in 10 to 50 years…

Btw…I have, and never will use the word “stuff” in any reports…

Nobody is going to read a 143 page report with mostly fluff. 17 thermal pages .

Keep it simple
