looks like gas lines. could be for an old generator. removed gas meter. no one can know except you. do you see the pipes inside, in crawlspace, basement?

Those are pipes sticking out of a ground with some sort of a cap on top of them.

Half of a union anyway. If the pipes are copper, I would think it is where an irrigation manifold was at some point.

I concur. 2 abandoned gas meter pipes.
