Bear in mind that the older you get the heavier the ladder gets. Fiberglass is way heavier than aluminum. Also don’t count on the ladder reach being the same as the advertised size. The size they give is always the two separated sections laid end to end. A 24’ ladder extends to 22’ and so on.

I agree with you on that one Bob.

Ladder lengths and heights required can be confusing and deceiving especially when they need to be set up at a 4:1 from ladder contact and 3’ above a roof if that is what you want to do.
You also want to figure that the longer the ladder the more overlap will be required.

Yes, I went to check out that ladder today and could barely lift it. I’m planning to get a drone for sure!
