I heard Mark Zuckerberg explain that the FBI, an agency of our government, came to him and told him to use FB. to suppress stories that would harm Biden in the election. Again, all jokes aside, that is shocking. All the crazy FBI conspiracy theorists turned out to be dead on, correct.
Mark Z is very liberal BTW, but honorable enough to tell the world what happened.

“I heard” is the worse enemy that is fighting this country today. The social media influx has made political propaganda at it’s worse. Don’t always believe what you hear or read, no matter what side you lean towards.

But this isnt about what you heard… It’s about what you “didnt hear”…And that was BECAUSE of our own FBI, which is very scary.
That makes us no different than Venezuela, or other dictatorships that control the election outcomes.

This is what Mark Zuckerburg actually said:

We thought there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election, we have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump that’s similar to that’.” He said the FBI did not warn Facebook about the Biden story in particular - only that Facebook thought it “fit that pattern”.
The most important quote that you left out was Mark said “Distribution has been decreased”. Go figure. Facebook decreased distribution of the Hunter Biden laptop news. In his own words it was significant. He is unwilling to give a percentage. I’m guessing he’s unwilling to state it was 100%.
Why did Facebook choose this one bit of news to fact check? Do they do this with all of their news? Of course not. Anti Trump news is posted shortly after other news sources post with no censorship.

Riiiight Nick, all jokes aside, I also heard, via RW MAGA/Q Anon supporters, that Sandy Hook was a false flag operation, that Jewish space lasers are starting the fires in the west, that there’s some kind of “great replacement” in the works, A group of Satan-worshipping elites who run a child sex ring are trying to control our politics and media, that Italian satellites switched votes from Trump to Biden, That FBI operatives organized the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, and these are just a few among many other doosies.

I don’t know why Facebook did what they did. My only point is that what was actually said is in sharp contrast to ”FBI, an agency of our government, came to [Mark Zuckerburg] and told him to use FB. to suppress stories that would harm Biden in the election.” That is a distortion of the truth.

My observations were this. Mark Z also said he was not sure if there was any documentation of the FBI visit. I think that deserves further investigation.
Second, corporate media starting singing in chorus the laptop story has all the indicators of Russia misinformation. I mean, it was like they all were operating off the same “memo”. How did social media and corporate media all come to the same conclusion simultaneously? I think that deserves further investigation.
Finally, social media blocked the NY Times story. They got it wrong and Mark Z admitted it was because of FBI interference. It had dramatic consequences. Still does.
So, all the heightened concern about conspiracy theories and the blocking of said disinformation is having a chilling effect on the truth!

This is what I’m confused about in this whole laptop from hell theories and my concerns.
It’s my understanding that the computer store sat on this computer at least 8 months before releasing it to the FBI as well as copies simultaneously to other notables. What proof of illegal activity is on this computer? If there are copies, why isn’t anyone releasing the copies? Could the hard drive been corrupted during the 8 months?
Yes, it could be corrupted, deleted, altered. Either while in his custody or the FBI’s. A quick and furious investigation by the FBI could have likely vetted the information. For example, emails are two way conversations which could be validated. Computer whizzes could accomplish a lot.
Back to the media, Here is an article from Newsweek editor in chief. He fails to mention the FBI, obviously because this was written before the Mark Z comment.
