Wind Mit clip screws allowed

A general contractor just installed these clips on a 1948 house in St Petersburg FL and says only 2 screws are needed. The Wind Mit form says minimum of 3 nails, but does not mention screws which I am thinking 3 is needed. Manufacturer says screws can be used but this screw does not look like it is approved either. Any thoughts?

As the form says, three nails.
If there is an engineers letter stating what was used and how it is approved, that along with the permit should be enough proof. The question is, does the contractor have the letter and permit?

What Eric said, and…

The Simpson H2.5 clip requires an approved fastener, not a deck/generic screw.
