No wonder I never get multi unit bldg’s I will never get why so many do them so cheap…WHY. They have money and you have to do the work. Why do it cheap…
Why spread this crap. You are so full of it sometimes, it makes me laugh. The reason you don’t get multi-family buildings is because you don’t know how to price them or who your client should be.
You are right I do not price them cheap like the fools that get the jobs. I get told all the time what they get them done for. I will not work for that especially if someone has the cash. I am no ones pee on.

Seriously though people give away multi units as if they are dealing with homeowners. They are not and the pockets are deeper. I also charge more for wind mits on mansions than standard homes. Those almost never even question the increase. The $50 a pop for anything guy in my area is a fool.
I did a 38 unit last Oct. which was in 5 different buildings single story and I charged $2900. Full inspections on all. I had the help of another inspector for a day to help with interiors. It took 2 days. I paid the other inspector $300.
I personally feel you undercharged but if you are happy that is all that matters

I once did a 700 unit complex…took three days and I charged 1000 per unit…
