Your home inspection website

Hi, Joshua –

Since you’re posting your request in my thread, I’m assuming you’d like me to review your website, too (as well as get feedback from your peers, which you may get sooner!), so I’ll add your name to my list.

Thanks!

Kate,

I would love to have it reviewed by you, as well as my peers. I appreciate your quick reply and putting me on your list. I look forward to the feedback.

Thank you,
Josh Imiola

Kate, am I getting close to review?

Hi, Scott –

You’ve got a bit more of a wait – I’m nearly at the 100th request and you’re in line at #157. I hope you’ll take some time while you’re waiting to read the reviews I’ve posted so far.

Thanks!

Hi Kate, I would appreciate your critique of our website www.p3inspections.com
Any suggestions on how to increase traffic to our website?

What has always worked for me is sending people to my site. I don’t work in high profile professions so Google isn’t going to be much help to me. Thus, I had to help myself. The way I did that was by taking a tactic from the Realtor’s playbook and working my farm. I used a 10-mile radius of my home and considered that my farm. Then I sent helpful postcards to addresses in that farm. Postcards about FPE & Zinsco panels, pool safeguards, smoke & carbon monoxide alarm reminders, etc. Postcards & postage cost a whopping 50¢, maybe. Far less than the cost of a Google click. Traffic to my web site spiked each month during the week after postcards went out. After a couple of months, business spiked, too, and when I asked people how they found me, “I got one of your postcards” was high on the list.
IMHO, Google isn’t going to do much for you because you don’t have a lot of people needing home inspections each day, or week, or month even. So you have to figure out a different way to get people to your site. If you do that on a regular basis, though, Google eventually will notice and help you out some as well.

Hi, Kim! I’ve added your name to my list – thanks!

Hey Kate, are you still reviewing websites? If so, go for it!

Will do, Lawrence!

How far down the list am I Kate?

Hi, Jeff –

You signed up only very recently (mid-June), and there are more than 100 requests ahead of yours, so it will be some time before I can get to it.

If you’d like your peers to weigh in, you might want to start a new thread and ask.

Thanks!

Kate, your thread here just topped 100,000 views.

Sweet! New review coming tonight/tomorrow!

Nice.

Hope Kate gets a nice bonus for going above and beyond!!
