Is a joist or truss hanger.
Some truss hangers will be specified by the design engineer and some may be regular joist hangers.
Depending on the size and make of the hanger, you need to follow the nailing schedule as listed for the type of hanger being used.
In the catalogue, they list the fasteners required dependent of the size hanger, etc…

So on this list, witch one is the nail?

OK, I see now. Its the second column that the nail to use. Am I right? Thank you. I know its was a know some people might think it was a dumb question, but I like to know some details. So when a client asks me something, I can answer them with the correct responds, not just taking it from tho top of my head.

As is evidenced by the ops picture…they rarely do. In what appears to be about a 4 inch span…they missed 6 times…

I am not sure that meets the definition of deck nailing, especially the part about being driven into a framing member…
