Anyone have experience with the Tramex Moisture Encounter ME5?

So I have spent hours reading through all the previous posts asking for moisture meter recommendations and have narrowed my choices for a new meter to either a Tramex MEP or the Protimeter BLD5365. But then I came across the Tramex Moisture Encounter ME5 and was just curious if anyone has used it, as I could not find any information here nor could I find any real reviews searching the web. Thanks all.

Ralph, I used the older version for 15 years and never a whimper out of it. However, for the same price, I think I would go withe the newer model (see arrow) because it has dual, and deeper depth, and is a TRAMEX also:

Thanks Larry, did you have another meter with pins for use in crawlspaces and attics or did you use the MEP exclusively?

MEP exclusively…and never a problem. Taped it to a painter’s pole for high up places.

I mean, with the newer model going to a depth of 1 1/4", when would you need more to make a determination?
