Don’t worry… they haven’t got the applied-for Trademark registered on any of them (they only applied)… and they likely won’t ever get awarded a Trademark on them (at least not without a disclaimer). Too descriptive.

Wrongful or groundless threats of infringement
Various jurisdictions have laws which are designed to prevent trademarks' owners from making wrongful threats of trademark infringement action against other parties. These laws are intended to prevent large or powerful companies from intimidating or harassing smaller companies.
Where one party makes a threat to sue another for trademark infringement, but does not have a genuine basis or intention to carry out that threat, or does not carry out the threat at all within a certain period, the threat may itself become a basis for legal action.

We all should start and use it now this could establish past usage and help to establish it . I agree does have a great ring to it .
RHI means not much to most people it only has a few about 217 who feel it has some importance
I like it because it is mine to use . See below
I wonder should I register another name Roy's Building Inspection.
this could go with my CAHPI/ON and CAHPI/ONT

…maybe we could team up with First Nations Building Officials Association (FNNBOA) so we could all be certified to inspect Tee Pees and Igloos too. Wow I can see it now…

Now is that not an interesting thought . We could be a northern branch of NACHI .
Get a set of bylaws and instantly be the largest best association in Canada.
I just happen to have a set of bylaws that are not used, need to change a couple of words and AWAY WE GO !!!!!!!!!!
We Could be like that other Association only call our selves .
NACHI/NORTH, Has a interesting ring to it.
Do we need a member of parliament to announce it I wonder.

I have a contact in the Ontario Government and perhaps a Private Members Bill is in order announcing creation of a self regulating home inspection association.
By the way, how do you go about inspecting an Igloo in the summer? Would we need a SOP for that, and should there be a need to certify inspectors through a National Certification Council on how to be qualified to inspect the melt water? ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif) ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif) ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif)

Personally I like NACHI-Ontario, NACHI-Alberta, NACHI-Manitoba, … with NACHI-Canada as the parent organization.
