Check if you have a 306.5 in your amended IRC. That’s likely where it would be.

Uh, either you or Minnesota are really ‘off base’ with that one!

1346.5306 - MN Rules Part.

That’s the IFGC or the IMC I believe. I was referring to IRC.

Damned Minnesota crap websites! I specifically searched for IRC.

Why do you want to know? Lack of one is merely an inconvenience.

I know, they don’t make it easy.

Some states have added 306.5 to the IRC, which calls for outdoor hose spigot faucet hydrant bibb cock water taps.

If I had to guess, and I am guessing, I would say no, it’s not required.

In my area, for most new construction I see them installing them on the sides and rear of the house.

I’m curious as to why this question was asked.

Very likely the usual scenario… Buyer purchases home, goes to wash pickup truck, no hose near front of home… and/or wifey wants to water her flower beds, and no available water and/or no in-ground irrigation system (which I would expect to be present in parts of Nevada).

I found it for GA, but cannot find the requirement for Nevada.

Here is the Georgia requirement. IRC 2018 w/GA amendments

Just recently, no hose bib on the outside, but one in the garage.
