Best Defect Pictures Nomination for May.

Here’s one from today’s inspection. It is a copper water line used as a drain line for the dishwasher.

Nothing wrong with that, just a lot more expensive than rubber. Does need a high loop though.

The darn trusses didn’t leave any room for storage in the attic. The owner wasn’t an engineer, but he did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once, so he made room.

Thanks big time love all these Great shots .

Nothing a little sawz-all won’t fix, right Troy?

I came across this beautiful exterior fixture yesterday during my inspection and I just had to get a picture.

So it was easier to paint over the splices than to install a new screw to secure the coverplate?

Spray foam between door and door jamb was used to either keep the kids from sneaking out at night or used as weather/bug stripping or who knows?

The house had been given to a non-profit group, as part of an estate.
They planned on flipping it…
The older women who lived in the home had recently passed away,
and was a hoarder…or so they told me…I was told that
it took about a week’s worth of work, to clear all the stuff out
BEFORE I came to do the inspection for the non-profit.
It was the longest, most disgusting inspection I’ve done in a long time.

A few days ago I was standing under this fan. The wobble was crazy
The sad part is that the tennant actually uses this fan.

Well, looks like 16 good defects, do we have anymore good ones from this last week?

The metal post was keeping the toilet above from falling thru

Wow, how was the smell down there Sean?

I can see that 2" pvc waste line in the bell of the cast iron wates line.
Looks like it is just poking in there.
Don’t know of any type of connection seal for that one.

A little moldy huh!

The plumbing was really not the concern as much as the mold and wood rot issue. We never really made it to the plumbing inspection.

I can certainly see why Sean. I hope they walked on that one, I would.

The guy was really proud of the wiring he did. The lights were flickering for some reason.:shock:

Humm! wonder why. ;)

Who do you guys do inspections for??? I never find anything this exciting

You just have to look harder.LOL:mrgreen:JK
