Can you identify with this?

It was beautiful today here in North Georgia and I forced myself to break out the fishing gear and tackle! This is on the Amicalola River in Dawsonville GA. Its about 15 mins from my house and walking distance from my relativities. A nice spot you can cast from shore, wade, kayak, tube, or canoe. These pics are rainbows, I caught about 20 today. Most stockers around here are 10-14 inches and most are rainbows. However, we do have browns and brooks around here too.

If any inspector is in the area at anytime (spring to fall is best) give me a shout or ring if they’d like to connect and do some river fishing for trout!

Nice Ray! Fly fishing I presume?

Thanks Dave! I do about 1/2 and 1/2. Today I started with fly reel but it was too windy, so I swapped over to a spool. BTW, I used to live in Sarasota for about 5 years. I miss the Gulf of America fishing!

Thanks JR. Happy fishing! I miss the Muskies and Pike fishing up there. It’s been about 20 years the last time I caught those type fish!
