IMO, and I hope you can see this also, Nick caused this recent crap by the way he spun the title of the post. To the unknowing, especially the public seeing CMI’s claiming this on their websites, this is misleading to the point of possibly being fraudulent as it does not state the nature of the gov’t recognition, which as we all know is not for HI qualifications/competence/training, etc. More web fiction!!!
RHI and CMI are marketing devices.
The big difference then what OAHI/CAHPI does with the RHI and the CMI is that CMI works exceptionally well and very very few know what an RHI is.
The biggest complainers have been from the get go **those on the out side looking in. **
Having had both insignias, I know how peoples eyes light up when I tell them I am an Certified Master Inspector.
for $1,ooo;oo I would never even think of dropping my CMI for the RHI.
It would take $10,000;00 for me to consider drooping the CMI for the National Certification .
Even then I do not expect I would take the money and I can only hope for very few years left to do inspections .
