Yes I agree and I think you meant to say he should be kept on a "chain." ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif) ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif) ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif) ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif) ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)

If that's the way you feel why should you as a non member be allowed to view ours?

Well....because that is Nicks decision, he obviously feels its important that information be open and the exchange of ideas and opinions flourish. We may not always like that, and we may not always agree with the topics, posts, comments, et al, but its open and free. I would be remiss if I didn't point out that I cannot gain access to the closed forums which requires membership in Nachi.

Anyway some associations like to trampel on free speech and freedom of association. Leave it to the Americans to ensure free speech is protected.

Now what should we discuss today? ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif)

Hey guys
I don't begrudge you the use of the forum, I just get a little upset the way Mr. Bottoms will come here and trash us but I bet he wouldn't let us go to the OAHI forum and trash OAHI. Just a difference between freedom of speech and a closed club I guess. Please, post away this is what NACHI is all about. Here and nowhere else can people speak their minds without censorship thanks to the auspices of Nick Gromiko and NACHI. But you guys have to admit Mr. Bottoms should be kept on a leash.

I feel Dave is a loose canon that is close to going off.
I will not communicate in any way with him as it is
impossible to have a discursion with him .
He has tunnel vision and has lost all ability to reason with.
He never helps any one always has a negative opinion
and is not even a home inspector .

Not that I really care, but, why are the three of you who are all OAHI members debating OAHI business on the NACHI forum? Could it possably be because if you did this on the OAHI board you would be told to cease and desist? I find it ironic that you can and are allowed to come here and post to your heart's content even though this has nothing at all to do with NACHI but we as nonmembers are not even allowed to view the OAHI forum. And the OAHI members try to say it is not an "old boys club".
We will now await the inane ramblings of the peanut gallery.

Gee Larry, I must be doing something wrong. Try as I might I can't seem to "view" the Canadian section of the NACHI site. Go figure.

James can you give a reason why you as a non member should be able to get into the members section.
At least you and other Canadian Inspectors have a place where you can voice your opinion .
That is more then can be said about any of the Canadian message boards.
Even the Members of the Canadian Boards are not allowed to voice there thoughts if the powers do not like it they are removed and if you are just a little outspoken you are removed . It seems some can say what they wish on some of the Canadian boards and get away with it while others can not .
I guess it is because it is a dictatorship who run those boards.

None at all Roy. But then again, it's Larry that is complaining about not being able to access a members only forum. I just gave an example of how NACHI practices the same policy.

And Larry...once was, now I isn't. but the entertainment value is hard to pass up...kinda like watching wrestling wouldn't cha say ? ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)
