Client Database Software

I?m presently in the market for a good software program that?ll keep track of all my HI clients.

I?m presently utilizing Outlook 2003 for my Realtor database and it?s fantastic. But I need completely different software that can compile Names, addresses and prices charged, of my past client’s. Something that?ll total up all my figures and sort out addresses for me.

What software are you all using for your customer database?

You might look at www.act.com/. Act! is like Outlook on steroids, may be what you need maybe not. There’s a free trial available on the website.

I used a custom Access database I made myself… Worked really well and since I made it. I could customize it myself.

Hi Dave,

I am with Gary on this one, I use Access for anything like this, maybe if you are not familiar yourself with the MS Office suite it is worth paying a few bucks to have someone do it for you.

Regards

Gerry

Let me dig mine back out. I will get it out and make some changes to it. I will then offer it to any NACHI member that wants a copy

Gary,

I'm definitely interested in a copy. I'm presently entering my data into an Excel file, but there's no format to it right now.

I would greatly appreciate you getting me a copy. I'll send you a check.

Kudos

Access or Excel is going to be the best programs for this type of thing. If you need help with any of the programs please let me know.

I use Excel for this and other business records. It took a while to tweak and figure out how to make reports, but it works for me.

I use Outlook for mailings, Excel for tracking finances, but always wanted to try Access. I just haven’t found a good site to teach me how. Any one know of a good FREE website for an Access tutorial?

Scott,

I've been reading up on an Access tutorial once Gary had offered the software.

Here's a site I'm utilizing now...
