Electrical Panel Issues - Help

Have to admit. Him called me a prick. Affected me. I truly thought I was trying to do good . However I’ve spoke with him on the phone. And we are both good now. If anyone out there needs help please believe me. I’m here for you. Honestly!
How in the world can you learn to do it properly without someone to help you? Someone helped me! And I’m passing it on

OK, Sir Roy, we are giving you a rub on your back and a tap on your shoulder, we look up to you and take in all of your advice. YEP. :grinning: The mean old dog barks a lot but he is friendly. Just give him a pat on his head and he will rollover. :grinning:

Oops, sorry. I missed the addendum

edit: fixed

I called Sir Roy today with a serious code question fresh from the inspection.
Did I get an answer?

Well? …
Of course you did!

It was a question of the day for others - you blew it!
THANKS again. :cowboy_hat_face:

On a split bus panel, one chooses the lesser amperage rating of the SEC (Service Entrance Conductors) and the cabinet capacity.

Hope that helps a little, Michael.

There are many things that as a home inspector I could flag as deficient but as an electrician I can say it is code of the day and in acceptable to an insurance company. As for your pictures, when you say the grounds are “shit” do you mean that because it appears they are going to the neutral bar?

I get it now…

Roy, you did the right thing. If I had posted a response to him, he would have called me much worse than a “Prick”. There are too many intellectually lazy inspectors who think that forums exist so they can get others to do their thinking and their work for them. I refuse to help those who won’t help themselves.

Hi Les; I agree with you. You would hope people could discuss things, without being rude. This is suppose to be a respectable Form isn’t it?

What is going on with the double pull 50 amp? It looks like it is looping back into the bar?

You should always be civil.

For one, you should have decided to invest more time, big time, in being a home inspector in all regards.

That is a simple panel board. You certainly should learn to develop your electrical skills by leaving the the dead front on!

I do not open dead fronts although I use to do so with safety, in every regard, and even proved that after being setup by a realtors complaint 5 years ago allowing an electrician, an AHJ for the system, and a large general contractor peer my process without my knowledge, up until the last second.
I passed with flying colors, by the way, and the complaint was overruled.

I can recognize issues unlike yourself. Why I stopped. I can not control the outcome of others.

Read your SoP. I suspect your are the perfect example.

Morning, Robert.
Hope this post finds you well.

Bravo sir. Bravo. I whole heatedly concur, although some of the awards committee needs a refer course in civility on the form.

Keep well Robert.
Looking forward to reading you posts.
Best regards.
