Fire Extinguisher Placement

Hi everyone, newish Member and student here. I was looking around my neighbors apartment the other day, and noticed this. Anyone else think it’s a bad idea to have the extinguisher hanging directly above where flames from any fire would be?
I suggested she move it to a better location.

Right above the fire, perfect spot for it! People just don’t think, too often.

I would think if you had a grease fire reaching for that extinguisher would be a challenge but other than that I don’t see a problem with it.

Also check to see if the Fire extinguisher is the correct kind for a likely fire in that location.

Exactly. ABC are common household, but not the best for kitchen grease fires (K) !!
