I’m working towards a career change, lifetime first responder to home inspector, and I’m almost finished with my initial 80 hours of online education, qualifying me to test if I can get 40 hours in the field. Anybody local to Tampa/ St Pete that could offer me some job shadow time? Even just to tag along for the experience? I’d appreciate any leads!!!
Leslie, contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring.
