Kind of an irritant that if you uncheck the "I want information about becoming an affiliate" box it won't accept the submission. Hope he fixes that. I really DON'T want that information.

What does Pat suggest that those home buyers and home sellers in states that DON'T license home inspectors do about finding a licensed inspector.

Buyers
It is a normal part of the process to have the home inspected prior to the
purchase. Make sure it is conducted by a licensed inspector and the sooner the
better. Again, use a Realtor to walk you through the process.

Sure!!! Use a Realtor to walk you through the inspection process!! Arrgh.

Don't realtors interfere in the process enough without this drivel being further promoted.

If he wants us pushing his stuff, why isn't he pushing using a NACHI inspector!

I quit reading his website at that point. I too, do not want that information and, to be honest, feel a little violated that NACHI would endorse & promote that. Not my cup of tea, for sure. Oh yeah, the credit agencies are required to give you one free credit report per year anyway. This 'service' is not needed by a consumer to get a free report.

What is the Purpose of This Site?

This central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

I doubt that Nick was initially aware of the affiliate issue. Most sites of similar purpose pre-check the box and you have to uncheck it.

But unlike most, this won't let you uncheck the box.

Home Inspectors, NAHI is a different organization. Once that is fixed then anyone interested should take another look and decide for themselves if they have any interest in the product.
