No one gave you permission to tell us who we can to donate to.
When we need your opinion, we will ask for it…

Just got a credit card “donation” for you Buddy.

You sound like my Dad. “When I want your opinion, I will give it to you!”

It wouldn’t be for teaching Will, just saves some postage.

Odd, I tell my children the same thing!

Dave,
I will have my checkbook at the next chapter meeting to donate. Nice job at last nights meeting.

I know it may be stupid , but…who is Will Decker, whats the cause here. Am I missing a link? Please let me know.

Sincerely,

The Slow One, lol

Ashli,
Will is a member in the Chicago area who had some slimeball steal his tools out of his truck. Due to insurance BS, Will is not getting a full reimbursement for his tools. He is only going to get a small amount back compared to what he lost.
Will has helped out members in various ways, and it’s a chance to show our appreciation, keep a damn good inspector from getting hosed, and, in a non-direct way, give the slimebags who rip us off the finger.

To add to that, Will is a former President of the Chicago Chapter and has also written a number of courses. He has offered to teach his courses free of charge to nearby chapters (including us in Wisconsin). He is also was voted NACHI “Member of the Year” for his many efforts to help others.

AHhh…Misguided I guess…lol

Will,

I have a Irwin tool bag if you need one. The .357 Magnum holster is extra…

Pat,

I think he may need that holster as well, so if you need $ for it our chapter would consider buying it for him, but he will have to get his own .357.

I know that he will appreciate anything we can do to help make him whole again (short of baptism).

I much perfer my old Walther. I have had it for about 20 years now and it still fires like it was new.

Will,

Keep an EYE on Ebay or other auction web-sites just in case
the A$$H*&# who ripped you off is pawning or trying to sell your gear.

I would even check with the local pawn shops on Ebay.

It’s not likely they would show up there if they were lifted by another home inspector. The way it went down it sounds like a strong probability.

The police have the serial number and have put it out to all the pawn shops and the on-line auction places.

Skokie has some GOOD police

No one has seen it yet. My worst thought is that it was some neighborhood kids who, when the had the time to look at it and determined that no one would take it for sale, they just chucked it some dumpster

Anyway, gives me an excuse to upgrade to the SD.

When life throws you lemons, make lemon marange pie and share it with your friends.

I want pie!

Hi, Will. Just a thought; You might want to contact the local ASHI and NAHI chapter officers. Let them know what happened and what was stolen. Maybe if one of their chapter members suddenly found a “Great Deal on some used tools” you will hear about it.

Already on it. I have more trouble with a small few NACHI members, in this area, than from NAHI and ASHI members.

I checked with my homeowners insurance agent about adding a rider to my policy and he told me my best bet would be to have an Inland Marine Policy endorsement added to my General Liability/E&O policy. He was also impressed with my camera.
