Nick, hows that list of 1800 ASHI members coming that joined NACHI in the past year?
I’m getting the impression that this was another one of your lies to impress potential new members, leading them to believe if 1800 members from another org joins your org, your org must be the place to be.
Keeping with my personal policy of not calling someone derogatary names that I don't know anything about, this is a general statement ,
" if it apples oh well,"
The people that lose are new inspectors that believe Nicks lies and bull stating they are qualified certified inspectors by soley taking his on line quiz with out any other qualifications and then proudly exhibits Nicks gold seal of approval on their marketing materials.
The true loosers are the home buyers that unknowingly hires Nicks certified gold seal inspectors with out any other qualifications. That affects all of us in this profession.

So much for that policy...

No, the people that lose are the people that hire ASHI inspectors fresh out of the box trying to get their 250 inspections so that ASHI will recognize them as members.

The people that lose, (Not loose, that would imply a LOT more than I am willing to) are the people who waste time reading this never-ending litany of dreck!
Nick is a salesman. Salesmen have a propensity towards exaggeration and hyperbole. Believe what you wish of his statements.
Dan, you were a member once, you've moved on. So move all the way on.
Erol, you and I agreed on many things. However, you've moved on also.
If the organization was not for you, then you made the correct decisions. If you want to come back, the door is open. But posting just to get a reaction and show the rest of us how cool you are, or how blind we are, is a waste of everyones time.

No Jim. I have an even better name. Let’s call it the “Big Tuna is FOS”
I received an invitation to the upcoming NACHI Grand Poopa event in Rosemont, IL. I hope I don't hurt anyones feelings but I think I'll pass this time. What I found most interesting is that the invitation boasts that NACHI is the biggest home inspection association in Illinois. HHMMM.
Now do you mean total weight including the big piles of BS?
Because my local ASHI chapter alone has twice the members of NACHI in Illinois. So I would strongly recommend a new calculator or find a less conspicuous way of lying to the public. Hope there's enough Kool-Aid to pass around.

Erol Kartal
Having no clue in regards to the validity of Erol's statement as to who is bigger than whom, it is still indicative of what I see as a growing trend. On this thread alone we see two former members of NACHI, who when they became eligible to join an association with greater public perception did so, this alone speaks volumes.

I guess Liar is not to be considered derogatory according to your "policy". .
If you read the statement in full, I stated someone that I don't know anything about.
I've been around long enough and sparred with Nick a few times to know enough about Nick, not to mention what I don't know I can get additional facts with documentation at www.nonachi.blogspot.com.
