HIP mobile?

I think Christmas is coming early for all the little Hippies out there.

LOL

Nope, and I won’t this time. I’ve been coding this in my mind over the past week since we talked, getting ready for when I’ve finished a few last things and can get started on this. I look forward to seeing the video you are going to send me.

Even for iPhone using Hippies???

Lets just say, you should hang your stockings early too!

So, if I hang my stockings tomorrow, will Christmas come tomorrow??? \:D/

Nice try, but Santa isn’t quite that close!

Beta 3.1.13 going out now!

Downloaded 3.1.13 and 3.1.6 this morning, heading out to the site soon. Looks like a good day to test it out a little!

Sounds great. Let me know how it goes

Trying mine out in the field tomorrow.

Tried mine out in the field today. Only issue(s) were that I had the app force close on me once (no biggie, went right back to where I was when it reopened) and an issue with the latest version (if you’re testing, Dom sent out an email on what to do).
Really wishing I had a phone that took quality photos, as this would save a step (having to take a pic with the regular camera). Nothing we can do about that.
Also wish the seller hadn’t been tailing me the entire inspection…no way to use the voice to text feature; again, nothing we can do there.
Otherwise…the app performed EXACTLY as you’d expect it too. It was fast, responsive, and uploaded all the data I put in right to the desktop when I got home. I can’t imagine it have worked any better at this point. Most of my gripes were with my phone’s lack of speed and screen size than the app. That and the crotchety old gal bothering me…too bad she wouldn’t understand I was doing research…

I have the program, but not time to mess around with it. Booked morning to evening for the next week, and then … Bahama Cruise!

Been testing out 5.12 and agree except the EVO screen size is fine.Get a force close here and there but as you said it jumps right back in a second.

Really crave a Samsung note now that I have this and it seems to be simple to use so far.

Instead of taking pics with the phone try preloading some illustrations and they will pop right in. then add the regular camera pics since HIP is so fast at that anyway.
What I like is it is not complicated.

What kind of illustrations? From the sketch feature?

Nah ,You can add illustrations and preload them on your SD card then click them right into your report in the middle of a comment.
This is a great feature here.

We already know HIP is great with pictures but this way it is faster than adding on your desktop even.
Just a thought.

Getting into this HIP Mobile hard right now and perhaps you have a few thought s on it as well.

Right now, I want the chance to refine my template (pare it back, too much time scrolling) and see how easy the voice to text could make things.

Probably still wind up doing the photos at home…but who knows, I like your illustration idea.

i got a new 10.1" tablet today cant wait to see how it works with HIP mobile. EEEEF you ipad3, android ftw!

Shane, should be nice…able to see what you’re looking for, it’ll almost be like having it at home.

What kind of camera does it have? You might be able to shoot photos right there with it too.

5 mp i believe. Its an acer a500 16gig. I think tablets are the new wave of the future in this business. They are getting too fast and inexpensive to ignore. They are so slim that basically if you use a clipboard for notes you might as well have one.
