Thank you for the reply Bob, but I’m not seeing it. Just to be clear I’m talking about the Advanced Color Options, I’d like to list non-critical items in my summary but assign an alternate color as the Advanced Color Options allows, not change the default colors for the app. In the desktop version you get a colored drop down box when editing the comment that allows you override the default “red” color for summary items. If your method accomplishes this I apologize for it going over my head, but the settings page appears to be changing the default colors, not just the comment I’m focusing on.
Bob. Please remember that most people are not on the Beta version of the report system. You are describing items that are not present outside of the Beta version.
You can actually get “Beta” versions in to the app stores?
I’ll play beta tester…
Uploading inspections from the desktop to the cloud so that they can be downloaded on a mobile device. It would be nice to be able to pre-load client data, or to have an office assistant pre-load data and perhaps certain other known inspection information to save time in the field.
Get with it and join Beta.No hiccups.Usually just a micro percentage with outdated devices have any issues at all I bet.
Settings have been there forever.
Clip and copy my instructions till then as they make it pretty clear.
Oh …almost left out the VR function will only work in combination with the red and blue laser devices aimed at the 3D printer once it has been disconnected from the upcoming HIP based cell phone system with modular drone segments detached and live client feed to the upgraded rover activated to do the remote…![]()
I shot Dominic a PM, we’ll see if he hooks me up. I’ve done some Beta testing in the past, I love to try to make things break.
How about auto capitalization of the first letter of a comment in caption on mobile?
Move comment to red/black and then backspace the list and add whatever you want.
Being able to edit the list content would be pretty cool because I usually forget to edit the template on the desktop version later and I end up typing it in again.
Dominic this method you outlined is just temporary in the mobile app yes? Inspection specific. It doesn’t edit the list in the template…or does it??
You don’t.
If you set a 3rd color and load in into your template, you won’t see the color on your mobile device.
You will see a [1] on the comment to indicate a 3rd color was chosen.
And it will print in the pre-selected 3rd color on your report.
The only issue is if you decided you want to change from 3rd color back to red or black, well, you can’t very easily.
And I’ve found removing or adding the [1] on the mobile does nothing to affect the color on the final report.
Hopefully Dom gets this figured out in an update soon.
Yes, this Please!
Already done on latest beta. As soon as we can figure out how to get around the bug in Google’s latest “Android System Webview” we’ll make the update public.
I don’t see no [1] or [2] or anything no matter what I do. LOL. …I better get a bigger screwdriver and open this thing up…
YES! Also, is there a way to make the summery the first page? When I try to move it, it doesn’t…
:)![]()
And of course I want this to functional on my Note 4.
You must do that from desktop.
That’s where I’ve been trying it, from the print page, highlight the item, and when I use the move up, it doesn’t move.
Report Settings->Options
Thanks guys!
