Gerry,

Since these people are up your way, have you ever had a chance to try them out? Know of anyone that has?

If anyone out there has first hand knowledge or experience with this group, please share it with us.

This is my first post on the NACHI boards, but felt I could add my two cents on this item. Last August I found out about the Home Inspection business and felt it was something I wanted to pursue. I have a sales background with no, absolutely no, experience in the construction industry. I heard about the school, forked over about $2,400.00 for a six day course. That money included hotel and meals. I took my exam for the school on Saturday evening after 6 long days of studying and exams. Passed the course, drove home, woke up the next morning and immediately took the on-line NACHI exam and passed it the first time with an 86. Certainly a miracle by my standards. I started my business in October and am now actively working in the Albany, NY area. I found the school to be very thorough, and extremely professional. Their standards and code of ethics are the toughest that I have read about in the industry. If anyone has any questions about this school, please don’t hesitate to call. (518)365-0920.
