The “Stand your ground law” allows anyone to escalate an argument into a shooting, and as long as there are no witnesses, they will more than likely get away with it!

The laws we already had on the books were more than sufficient. You already had the right to defend your property. This just takes it one step too far, giving people the notion that any argument is cause to pull a gun and start shooting. Too many people will die, before this legislation is repealed. But it will probably take someone important to die before that happens.
I have no problem with guns, and no problem with people defending themselves, when the situation warrants it. But like yesterday, getting hit with a piece of popcorn should not allow you to blow someone away!

The real issue is many move here to start over(hence they have problems to begin with) then they have no support system, Many end-up leaving after a few years realizing that they have issues here also.

Mike, “Stand your ground” was used as Zimmerman’s defense, and was the reason that he is not rotting in jail where he should be.
As for your statement " you know what happened", really were you there? As far as I know, and as John pointed out, only two people know what happened that night. One of them couldn’t give his side of the story!
