Industry opinion of NACHI

Even I found it rather surprising, when I couldn’t find anyone anywhere saying anything nice about NACHI. In fact, I found the overall mood downright unfriendly.

Why, should we suppose, is that the case?

NACHI members, ask yourselves "Why does everyone outside NACHI despise NACHI, to the point where the even the mere mention of the name raises ire and disgust?"

It’s like going to other software sites and searching for complimentary discussions on Microsoft, I suppose. Industry leaders are rarely appreciated by those left behind in the dust. icon_wink.gif

the home inspection industry and James is right, we’ve long left them in the dust. Gil’s coming here to post is evidence.

I prefer when they come here to our site to talk bad about us, though. That way, the web traffic they generate helps us to dominate the internet as well as the industry.

I would not be concerned .
Those who find those other sites will come over to NACHI to see if what they read is true .
This gives the Intelligent Home Inspector to see what a great place
NACHI really is and the Nay Sayers will continue to do us so much good
with all the advertising they do for NACHI .

I never visit or post on any other message board. Apparantly this is true for our NACHI bashers as well.

As a hollow shell of an organization, NACHI will implode upon itself without any outside assistance. Non members and former members are here only to stem the flow… of Kool-Aid, as it were - and in my case, to see if I can embarass Nick into paying for the NACHI banner ads which he agreed to have published in RE folders all over North America.

The hounds are at your back door Nick, and they're not NACHI dogs.

By the way Nick, ask Chris Morrell what he knows about Google's opinion of search engine spamming.

Perhaps NACHI’s next supplier will ask for prepay with at least a 20% discount

Based upon my assurances, the ad companies believed that Nick Gromicko was trustworthy.

Since Gromicko initially claimed to have already paid for these ads, and then claimed to have never heard of them, and subsequently accused the ad companies of over-billing... there's been plenty of embarassment and other fall-out for NACHI members and other folk in eastern Ontario... one person for example, is no longer employed at one of the ad companies. Word is getting around that NACHI is a bogus organization - AND some of us are stuck with worthless, embarassing NACHI logos in several of our folder ads and other marketing materials.

Nick Gromicko's bad behaviour has caused considerable grief and misfortune for many people. No doubt, just little people to the Grand Poobah... just a bunch of NACHI dogs.

Hey Gil

Why don't you explain to everyone how your little clique rode rough sod over the Oahi by-laws when you managed the Kingston group in Oahi as your own fiefdom. Then when you finally saw the light that Oahi was no longer going to put up with your manipulation you exited and joined Nachi. When things didn't go your way, and you couldn't dictate your vision of the way the game was going to be played to Nachi Cdn. members you folded the cards. You have a history of manipulating things and destroying them because you have no long term goal. Just as you found it necessary to publish a newsletter damning me for my role at Discipline Chair at the time. Now you don't have anyone to manipulate but yourself. Why not take your game and play it with ASHI of which you are still a member. I am sure they could use someone of your influence.

I’m surprised you want to go through the same horsepucky all over again. Your long-term memory doesn’t seem to serve you well. Anyway, it doesn’t matter because most people do remember what really happened between you and OAHI, and your ongoing rendition of history only serves to further discredit you.

Okay so why don't you tell me your version of what happen with the DPPC you talk a good story but where are the goods? You have a tendency to screw everyone around to suit your agenda. You screwed around with Oahi and holding Kangaroo courts up in Kingston, you thought you were God. Well what goes around comes around. You lost.

Have a nice life.

Sorry Gil I could care less what the NAT Sayers say about NACHI .
I can only go by what I see and hear.
You Have done your best to try and make NACHI look bad mentioning how Kingston and others have gone into hibernation .
Well In my opinion YOU are the reason why Kingston is doing nothing .
It was going well thanks to you Cam and all the helpers.
The last Kingston Meeting Cam and you gave your word to me .
The following morning your reneged on your word and backed out.
This was most unfortunate as I had given you and the Kingston Group my complete support.
When You could not live up to your word things completely fell apart instantly ( showing a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link ).
You talk about your side of the advertising I wonder why you never mentioned your concern with the Kingston Executive .
We have your opinion only and you expect us all to trust a man who does not live up to his word .
Sorry I wonder what else you have been hiding all this time .
It sure looks strange to me .
