And it is a legitimate service that helps people. (unlike some HI gimmicks).

I agree. And I always follow up the the scary parts with how easy and cheap it is to mitigate.

The EPA says the cost for mitigation is typical with general home repairs. I think I am a bit off topic to the thread.

My fees with ISN and guardian never come close to 25 dollars an inspection. My fees for the month are seldom more than half of one inspection and I have doubled my business since accepting cards.

My fees aren’t $25 either. But, it encourages cash

Has anyone ever attempted to negotiate fees with their processor? I use Square and pay right around 3%. My wife owns a retail business that uses square as well and I figured between our gross revenue on both businesses we may be able to knock them down a bit by telling them about offers we are getting at lower rates.

Yes, with a previous business I owned. Processing fees were very important because most of my transactions were between 3 and 8 thousand dollars each. Therefore, I was a processing company hopper, lol. I would negotiate until they would not budge, then jump to another with low intro rates until they raised them.

try merchant x. they charge 1% fee plus .15 a transaction, they can also do ACH payments for a small fee. if you need a authorize.net gateway it is $10.00 a month. With ISN you do need a authorize.net gateway for it to work.
