It says, 'How to monitor and seal foundation cracks', ok let's see

FF to 2:20 mark, see the hairline vertical crack.

Well most of these cracks extend further down the foundation wall so sealing the top 2’ whatever of these cracks does not seal any part of these cracks that continue downward, eh lol

so do i have this right, he’s a lil concerned about the top of the crack YET says nothing, does nothing about the rest of it that extends further down lol

apparently built 1927, we do many of these types of older joints, another bowed in block basement wall, has multiple exterior cracks that allow water in basement but as is often the case, some INT drainage system moron will likely get the job and install an INT drainage system and some wall anchors or carbon fiber straps and then cover the wall with cheap paneling to hide/conceal the existing defects, water, cracks etc

Those not in the industry (including many new home inspectors) don’t understand this.

well lol do you/others think they should understand it?

see here short video, poured wall crack that extends DOWN to footing, the lady hired some jerk who
1:05 mark slapped some crap on the UPPER 2 ish feet of crack, and they injected crack on the inside, kept leaking, video shows why and vid shows what Marky n crew has seen for decades n that is lol, most of these crack extend DOWN so slapping junk on upper 2 ish feet doesn’t do squat about the rest of the crack

Siiiimon, you ‘get it’, wish other HI’s would because THEY are costing their clients $$$, yep

Mark, those with desire to learn do and understand how cracks impact the dwelling. Nothing can be done about the rest – the world isn’t perfect :man_shrugging:

lolll , did you see the DRAIN TILES bro?

exterior drain tiles pffftt, yet again had nothing to do with WHY the basement leaked in 2 areas, as most if not all interior basement system companies lie about n try n BS homeowners about… and they do lol quite often, pathetic

Simon, by the way, Nachi or Ashi home inspection courses don’t show this, don’t teach new HI’s this? lol

The world isn’t perfect, indeed sir, VladdYYY Putin needs to get a sudden visit from the ANGEL of death
