After a few months in between inspections, I was able to make the lady of the house happy and complete the kitchen project. I thought I would share my pics to show off a little bit,…nothing fancy.

Here is a before and after picture..

Yes GFCI and YES a permit was issued. What kind of guy do you think I am! I only lost 1 fingernail during the entire project so I set a new record for myself. Thanks again for the compliments.

Did anyone see the screw up?

Nice job Jeff. Did you do it all yourself?

Screw ups
1. Counter top runs into casing on the right side of stove.
2. Looks like the face plate on the sink base cabinet is out of level.

Still it looks like a great improvement.

Good job Jeff!

Looks like outlet or switch plate is too close or altered on right side of window trim. Hard to tell from photo!

Stunning!

As an ex cabinet maker I have to ask, where are the cabs from?
And I'm glad to see you didn't go with Oak. I am soooo tired of Oak cabinets.

Looks nice - big improvement.

Backsplash? Light over sink centered? Anti-tip bracket on stove (through that tile)?

Jeff,

That is totally awesome!!! The only thing I noticed was that the doors on the upper cabinets are too close to each other. But I really had to look hard!!

You even updated your coffee pot and of course seeing as I'm a huge coffee fan, I noticed!!

So glad you pulled a permit for that remodel!! ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)
