Little Giant ladders?

I have a LG fiberglass. Great ladder I’ve had it for 6 or 7 years. I originally bought it because I didn’t want the ladder rack either and my job at the time required a fiberglass for OSHA regs. Great ladder a little heavy but you can strip one of the extend sections off of it and keep it in the truck and it will lighten it up quite a bit. It is hard to work with fully extended though so keep that in mind. I bought my ladder rack for under $100 and it works great and it can be removed in less than 10 minutes just another thought. Also have a aluminum one and it is ok. I like the older ones a bit better.

I think the tactical ladders are only flared on one end (botttom) and the other end (top) is straight so its easier to get on and off of the ladder

Straight from LG’s web site.
“The Little Giant Tactical Ladder is the only ladder designed specifically for tactical military, SWAT and law enforcement use.”

I understand but I depreciate all my tools.
I buy new ones and sell the old.

That would be nice.

They do make one with one straight and one flared end but its not the tactical model.

That would be great for the smaller one. They only go up to 22’.

Try an “extend and climb” ladder. It’s light and extends 20 feet, and can fit in a car. Google it.

I found the 17’ version for $404 on ebay. I’m ordering that as my smaller ladder. It’s model #15144

Good choice, you’ll be happy with the quality of the LG.

I’ve got a 10.5 ’ telescoping for inside and a 13’ ft LG for outside.

Don’t believe in overkill.

I use a Werner Multi Ladder I got from Lowes.

Just got a notice from Costco that the 17 footer is on sale for $149
