Logo Copywright

If you paid them for a design. The Contract is fulfilled (service for a fee), From their reviews they sound like they have a side Hussle as scammers…I wouldn’t even waste my time thinking of a nice way to tell them to go make love to themselves.

Just because a scammer is using a company’s name and client list, doesn’t mean the company is behind it or even knows it is going on. If that were true, NACHI would have gone under years ago.

First, switch to using the correct term “copyright”.

Second, scan a copy of any letter or email you got and post here for more help.

Third, when they call ask them for permission to record the call. That will shut them up fast.

If you paid for the logo that’s work for hire, you own the copyright, and don’t have to register it or anything. Trademark is a different concept, what you own is the logo and exact copies of it.

The right answer is almost certainly to ignore them, perhaps report to https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/ . You can also refer them to your lawyer (just make that part up).

It takes a LOT to get a F BBB rating. I mean you really have to work at it:

Also note “100% Satisfaction Guaranteed” so just ask for your money back.
THAT should get their attention.

Ignore them, it’s a scam. It happened to me, I just ignored them until the fake threats stopped.

When InterNACHI makes you a logo, it’s yours forever. In 3 decades we’ve never copyrighted or laid claim to any logo we’ve created for any inspector. We also send you multiple, editable files of your logo to do as you wish and you need not remain a member of InterNACHI. Inspectors keep their membership because the value proposition is so fantastic for a businessperson.
