Looks like a painted Transite duct vent running thru the Bedroom closet

I wonder if Kevin has ever admitted he was wrong.

What a complete tool.

Always the victim this one is.

And a CMI to boot.

I thought you were an IAQ expert?

Nice to see the 4 wise men again!

The only thing extra that I may have in my report is the resale of the home. The next purchaser may want it removed at my buyers cost. We can explain things until we are blue in the face but all people are hearing is ASBESTOS= CANCER.

Kevin, there are more than 4 wise men on this board that see what is conspiring with your comments on everything you post on.

How do you serve your clients with some of the things you bring up on this board?

Yes Greg and that is all that matters!
1950’s home will contain allot of ASBESTOS.

Kevin, late 60’s homes and early 70’s homes can contain a lot of asbestos.

Can you only make comments on what you read?

Same way you do! I tell them that the transite pipe may contain asbestos and show them the articles on it. I only wanted to point out that transite has changed and could not remember where I read it so I did not even think I needed to comment. this is after I believe 1980. It is the wise man that made me dig it up.
Now for the info you guys could not find all I get is you are** wrong again**.
I did not say that the picture here was not containing ASBESTOS.
BTW I still would not agree with leaving if it is painted.
End of discussion.

For whom?

You made a post that I believe to be more misinformation, and you’ve made no correction or retraction. So I will ask again;

Please show me where you got the information that not all Transite piping contains asbestos. My experience says otherwise. I am more than happy to be wrong, just provide me with some facts.
