McCain/Obama Townhall Debate

They were rather boring, wern’t they?

With 4 weeks to go the only game in town is the economy.

Each candidate has to convince the electorate he either has the best plan or at least will do the least damage to the economic situation we find ourselves in.

I hope people are paying attention.

I think McCain needed to win big tonight, he sorely needed a game changer which could reverse his slide in the polls, although he did well it was mission unaccomplished. Nothing has changed and I expect as soon as tomorrow for Obama to begin to pull away from McCain and widen the gap in the polls.

We are coming down to the wire in this election and those of us who already have our minds made up are not confused nor will our positions ever change over the next 28 days. All that is left is the independent and undeclared voters and the current public polling of these people suggest a strong move to the Obama Camp.

Throughout this election season I have clearly stated over & over again that it was always Obama’s race to loose, tonight I reiterate that claim and boldly confirm that if Obama does nothing wrong between now and election day he will be our next president irregardless of anything John McCain does or fails to do. It is no longer within John McCain’s sphere of influence to win this election, his only hope is to somehow inherit the lead from an Obama misstep.

There are 3 possibilities for McCain to win.

  1. A terrorist attack on the U.S.
  2. McCain’s coaches come up with ten great lines for the next debate in response to Obama’s predictable statements. They have to be great.
  3. Palin attacks and takes out Obama for McCain. She has the media to do it.

McCain had a 4th way to win… to oppose the bail out, but he chickened out.

He gets a consolation prize though for being against it right before he voted for it.

News coming out of Kenya about Obama.
Developing.

McCain has a 5th way too. And that is the possibility that America really isn’t ready for a 1/2 white, bi-sexual President… and though angry with George W. enough to claim to be supporting Obama… many won’t actually do it in the voting booth.

I know of nobody, black or white, who isn’t a racialist to some degree, and most of them are homophobic to some degree, even if they don’t believe it themselves.

Maybe next he’ll suspend his campaign until the day before the election and freak everyone out, thinking he may have serious health problems, a major vote swing hoping Sarah will be come President. ;-)

And sexism is clearly harming Palin.

And age discrimination is clearly harming McCain.

:shock::shock::shock: ???

I don’t think it is true but for voters who care, it matters.

Been looking around the web to see what the real voters think, rather than the right tilted Nachi forum, and it seems McCain knocked himself out.

After the initial romance with Palin, many are now seeing the choice as he desperate move it was.

Biden was not a marketing move as much as a solid choice of experience , and many have grown tired of the Joe six pack and Hockey mom references over and over.

McCain offers little hope , while Obama offers solid plans that bring hope to millions.

McCains attack ads show his desperation ,and We the People see right through it all.

**Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby Poll:
Obama 47%, McCain 45%
**

**The telephone tracking poll shows neither candidate with a clear advantage in the national horserace**

UTICA, New York - The race for President of the United States remains far too close to call between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain as both candidates head toward the finish line, a recent Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby daily tracking telephone polls shows.

Mikey, yours is a meaningless poll. If you are speaking to Republicans or Democrats, from here on out no minds will be changed and all you can expect is vile party rhetoric.

The ONLY voices that matter now comes from the uncommitted independent voters who will decide this election and plain & simple this is what they had to say…

CBS Poll: Uncommitted Voters Say Obama Won

Forty Percent Give Edge To Obama, 26 To McCain And 34 Percent Say It Was A Tie

**(CBS) **Uncommitted voters named Barack Obama as the winner of the second presidential debate as well, according to a CBS News/Knowledge Networks poll.

We shall see Joey. We shall see.

Zogby was the only one that got 2000 right.

Facts are stubborn things, eh?
