First Murray I have come across. The service disconnect breaker [50A] (red circle)) is in the middle of the panel and only appears to control the bottom half of the panel(?) The breakers for the large items, furnace, stove etc are above it. Can anyone enlighten me on this configuration.
It’s a split-bus panel where the top portion is allowed to have up to 6 hand movements to disconnect all of the power. The 50 amp CB feeds the bottom section of the panel. These were popular 40 years ago.
