We own Porch. Porch doesn’t own us. In fact, InterNACHI is setup so that it can never be owned, bought, or sold.

I commented to one of my employees/inspectors at the 2021 Vegas conference that the entire inspection world was soon to be owned by InterNACHI or Porch. Hopefully, Nick is truthful and those aren’t going to be one in the same.

No. We had stock in Porch before it went public.

Gotcha. You left out the word stock, when you said you own Porch. There’s a big difference between owning stock in a company and actually owning it.

I don’t know the difference. I guess a partner in a partnership owns it without holding stock. Over the past 5 years, I’ve got us out of every company we owned. We still own Tesla I think. But after what they did for Ukraine last week, I’m OK with it.
