I am relatively new to the home inspection industry and am seeking advice on how to conduct comprehensive home inspections that meet industry standards and exceed client expectations.
I have completed my training and certification but would greatly appreciate insights from experienced inspectors.
Specifically; I am interested in learning more about;
Best practices for inspecting various components of a home; including electrical systems, plumbing, roofing, and HVAC systems.
Effective communication strategies for explaining inspection findings to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
Tips for managing time efficiently during inspections to ensure thoroughness without compromising quality.
Welcome Zach.

Along with what Bert recommended, Zach, you may want to contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring and some are into it just for the $.
