No More Supra Key?

Sounds like our Sentrilock which we have had for a couple of years now. We had the Supra system for about a year and there were nothing but problems, so they got rid of it.

I don’t have one, but since I’m married to a Realtor, I have access when needed, but I only use it in a dire emergency, like a recent incident where the Realtor was in a car accident. She called me while being taken to the hospital. I love dedication.

In 13 years and 11,500+ inspections, I can count on two hands the number of times that the buyer’s agent has not been at the inspection. It’s standard around here.

We are currently allowed to get the key through my local Realtor Association. We get the key fob that corresponds to my iPhone to open with the code from the selling agent (different than the realtors code). I didn’t realize there was so much inconsistency between different associations. So I would be willing to bet there isn’t a “bill” going through, but a motion at my association to disallow this practice and fall in line with many other areas here in VA.

Mike is correct. I forgot that our associations here made everyone switch to the bluetooth boxes awhile ago, so the older style ones have been retired here for some time. Sorry for the misinformation. Thanks for correcting me Mike

I have the key fob version that works with my android smartphone. I don’t know how you guys operate without it? I typically arrive at the inspection an hour or so prior to the client and BA to get a head start so they don’t have to be there for three hours. Its also very handy for putting in or retrieving my radon monitor. I can’t imagine not having one.

Don’t know that Virginia agents are required to be there. I think it varies from agency to agency. Some associations my require it. On this side of the mountain, I have had many agents give me the code to the lockbox. Occupied homes tend to be a bit different

I wish they would pass a law like that in Missouri. I pay over $600 a year in fee to my local board. Realtors need to get off their buts or give us a passcode for that day.
