Please, Does Anyone Know What Exactly This Is?

Hello. My name is Bobby. I’m still fairly new and finishing up my online course with InterNACHI. Does anyone know if this is a private well? It has warm water in it, but it has a pump pumping the water into a water heater. There are no labels on it. And is that a sump pump it’s connected to? And why would it be connected to it?
FYI, this is a home in UT that is in a rural area. So, my guess is a private water source of some kind. The water goes from here into a filter, then a softener, then into a water heater.
Thanks for any help.

Some type of cistern type system would be my WAG. Photos of any labels/plates would help. Watching…

Yeah, it looks like some of the tanks in my deceased uncle’s old dairy milking parlor.

And it does look like they’re using it as a water storage. Maybe only used as non-potable?

Looks like something off of Moonshiner’s. Filled it with water while the inspector was there.

That’s where the bodies go. I’m thinking they keep the solution warm to help with faster decomposition.

I heard that after they installed a sump pump in the basement, it pumped blood out of the ground for four straight days.

Definitely an “Ask the seller what they are doing with this.” thing.
