Does any one know if on line radon certification classes are ok to take?. Are there any good ones out there? My inspection business is in the Nashville area.
Thanks,John Cubit

Try this its in continuing ed. & it counts towards your required NACHI continuing education. There is tons of knowledge in the education resources & member bene’s, more than one could absorb in a lifetime & it’s only a click or two away.

Thanks for the info but do I have to TAKE A RADON TEST TO GET CERTIFIED TO START TESTING FOR RADON?
Check with the State.
Many States have their own program. However, if you go to PHII they offer an on-line approved pre testing class if you want to be NEHA-NRPP certified. Take the class 16hours then sign up for a test in your area. I think the NEHA-NRPP certifications give you the most clout. If you go to their web site NRPP you can find approved courses.

As was mention in other post you need to go to your state’s EPA/ Radon page and see there requirements and accepted course studies. In Pennsylvania one of the online approved schools was ESA out of Williamsport. I took there course and than needed to take a Residential Radon Measurement Provider Examination. The test is a NEHA computer test a passing grade of 72 or more is required.
Hope this helps
