Darren Please read and understand the rules
Moderation Guidelines

All moderation is up to volunteer moderators and InterNACHI members. Any post that is reported will be listed here. Please follow these guidelines to decide if a post needs to be moderated or moved.
If the reported post is by a non-member:

InterNACHI only moderates non-member posts that violate the InterNACHI message board’s forum rules. If you think the reported post violates these rules, indicate why.
If the reported post is by an InterNACHI member:

InterNACHI does not moderate member posts on its message board. There are only two reasons that a reported member’s post will be acted upon:

  1. If a member’s post could negatively reflect on InterNACHI as an association or a large portion of its membership, that post may be moved to a section of the message board that is not visible to the public. If you think a post should be moved, indicate why.
  2. If a member’s post violates InterNACHI’s Code of Ethics, InterNACHI’s Ethics and Standards of Practice Committee can determine if that post should be deleted and if any further action should be taken against that member. If you think a post violates the COE, please ask a member of the ESOP Committee to review the post.

Wayne. That’s fine. I understood this last nite. I’m just in awe that there are so many members participating in this feeding frenzy & willingly contributing to the negativity. I’m canceling my membership with an attached letter to Nick Gromicko. Letting him know why I’m canceling & why I’ll have a hard time referring anyone to this Organization.

for posterity

You are making a big mistake.
This MB is only a small fraction of the benefits this Org has to offer.
You don’t have to participate on the forum to reap the benefits of NACHI.
Just get a thicker skin and you will be OK…Really Brother!
The is the way life is.

good job Roy, you scared another one off.
Lets see how he likes the other inspector forum.

Don’t forget these…

…"This discussion didn’t give me the desired results.
To date I have about a dozen posts ( questions ) listed in the forum. Not one answer !..

Did you expect everyone to fall at your feet or something?
Kinda snooty IMO.

I know I won’t get a reply as you stated your last post has been made.
Seeee ya… buh-bye.

As a “InterNachi messageboard moderator” I am required to be impartial and dispassionate in my replies.

That being said….As this apparently recently certified inspector has stated he’s going to come up to New Hampshire and “bring things up the standard/show us how it’s done” :roll:I must say that even for a “newbie”….that is a pretty arrogant statement!

For his information …I am in touch with Nick on a regular basis. And during the last week – week and half I have been in touch with Ben Gromicko over courses that I am going to present to our New Hampshire state chapter.

Also, The thread that he started is a perfect example of why I and a lot of others do not post on this message board unless we see a technical question whose answer has eluded the majority of our inspectors.

For his information… I’m in touch with our New Hampshire inspectors on a regular basis. Weekly if not daily! I will help our InterNachi brothers anyway that I can.

As he lives in another state and has never bothered to directly contact me all I can say is… he should stop and think before he opens his mouth and starts posting negative remarks on this public forum.

Frank Carrio,** CMI is The Founder.**
However, There is no Email address & the last post on
the sites board is from 2009 !
Is there a Chance Mr. Carrio is not with us anymore?
**I’m betting he’s not. There’s no “Anything in NH” I know of a couple independent inspectors that won’t give you the time of day. **
**Which is one of the deciding factors that brought me to the decision of becoming an inspector. After I had the opportunity to read a report on a friends house , Whom I had just completed a bunch of work for … **
**That Being said. I intend to head up the NH Chapter & get things up to standard here. Because, believe me. **They are not !

There are a lot of things that I would like to say to you but…… My parents taught me that; “if he can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all”!
That being said…… I’ll try to be civil and answer your questions.

  1. If you read the information on the New Hampshire state chapter you will see my name and phone number. You should have picked up the phone and called me!

I would have been happy to answer any and all of your questions. That being said ……at this point in time I have no desire to speak to an inspector from a different state who has the arrogance to say that he’s going to come up to New Hampshire and “get things up to standard”!

  1. “**I intend to head up the NH Chapter & get things up to standard here.” **My response to your statement would blister the paint off of the walls! So…… I’ll just chalk this statement up to ignorance and arrogance! I have a question…. Who in the hell do you think you are!
    {The phrase… “Open mouth and insert foot” comes to mind!}

  2. You state that there are some New Hampshire inspectors that “Would not give you the time of day!” I can see why!

  3. For your information…. I am in weekly if not daily contact with many of our New Hampshire inspectors. I answer technical questions on a routine and regular basis.

  4. When I receive requests to conduct inspections I direct the prospective client to other New Hampshire inspectors.

  5. As an InterNachi messageboard moderator I am in “regular communication” with Nick.

  6. As the founder and President of the InterNachi New Hampshire state chapter during the last week – week and a half I have been in touch with both Nick and Ben Gromicko over courses/classes that I will be providing to our members.

  7. Once I receive and review the material then and only then will I “set up classes”. I will send out an email to all of our InterNachi inspectors in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.

For your information…… I visit this message board each and every day. You will see that I have made posts between midnight – 6 AM. That being said…. This thread is a perfect example of why I do not “post” on a regular basis. I do not want to be sucked in to the constant fighting and bickering that you see here.

If you want more information on me I suggest that you look up some of the threads that I have started.

Others have asked “where’s Frank”?
You will see that I have posted some extremely personal information and that is…. My wife of 33 years is dying of pulmonary fibrosis. There is no known cause, there is no known cure! It is slow, painful, and an ugly and vicious way to die. I am with her 24 hours a day. My question to you is… If this were your wife would you spend unnecessary time on this message board “fighting” with some arrogant newbie or would you take care of your wife? The answer is obvious!

So… The answer to “What happened to Frank” is…. Although I’ve had four heart attacks and two “cardiac procedures” and given five months to live {as I write this I am two years, and 12 days past my “expiration date”} I’m in regular communication with “InterNachi headquarters”.

I’m in regular communication with InterNachi New Hampshire members.

“Formal Classes” will start again as soon as I receive and review the educational material but at this time I am mentoring/helping our inspectors on a one on one/personal basis via; meetings at my house, email and telephone.

PS: In my opinion you have received the information that you wanted.

I do want to hear anything that you have to say on this matter

so… Unless you want to escalate things …Don’t bother to respond!

I Frank, I’ve been meaning to call you. I hope all is well.

Glad to hear about classes, please let me know if you need help with anything.

I told Darren unless he wanted to escalate matters not to bother to respond!

His solution was to send me a nasty, self-serving “private email”!

I ask all of our members to Google his name plus, New Hampshire!

I think all of you would be interested in the information listed under the Better Business Bureau.

It seems that he has built quite a negative reputation for himself!

I too got a not very nice letter from Darren , He does not seem to have the ability to do things properly .
Thanks will have a look … Roy

All I can say is that over the years you and I have seen people like Darren come and go!
I don’t think he’ll last too long here!

In the meantime hang in there and I wish you all the luck in the world.

Warmest regards, Frank
