Good morning, my fellow collogues, I am in Missouri and am looking to shadow so that I can gain my experience and start performing inspections. Is there anyone in the STL, Mo area that will be willing to allow me to shadow?
Adria, you may want to contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring and some are into it just for the $.

Others can bash you, but in my opinion, you are spot on. I do a good bit of mentoring and if I did not have some basic requirements such as NACHI membership and CPI completion, I would be spinning my wheels with tire kickers. (been there, done that)

Sorry I’ve been going thru breast cancer treatments and body scans which is why I haven’t been able to keep up with my membership due and why it’s long response time due to decreased hours and pay. You are very mean and that was uncalled for. Know all of your facts being making a comment next time. I thought we all are colleagues and that is the purpose of this forum.
